Baby Steps

For a couple of months now we thought Isa would be walking. She's been cruising since July so we were anticipating the "next step." At 10 months she actually tried to walk without holding onto anything but lost her nerve when she fell hard. Slowly I noticed she had been building her confidence back up by letting go of the coffee table and walking a short distance to the couch. It must be like walking on a tight rope for them. At least that is what it looks like. I love to watch the building excitement on her face as she nears her destination without falling on her bottom. It's a good thing she wears diapers or she would have a sore fanny by now. She is defintely more confident now of her abilities as she tries and tries again with determination. That's my girl!!!
